Details
- Pride in our American Heritage and renewed interest in its early history has greatly influenced U.S. architecture. With careful research and design, Baldwin has authentically reproduced a piece of that heritage - colonial rim locks.
- Constructed with solid forged brass parts for exceptional durability and smooth operation.
- Trim designs secured to a broached spindle with an epoxy (resin) coated set screw - prohibits screw from loosening.
- Interior rim locks use bit keys. Bit keys may be ordered fixed permanently into the lock (call 1.800.358.2469 to order this way).
- Rim locks are sold as sets with 5030 knob included
- 1.375" minimum door thickness is required
- Passage, Privacy, Keyed Entry and Full Dummy Functions available
- Included with Privacy (active set): Interior Rim Lock, bit key, cover plate, emergency key, 5030 knobs, 5002 rose for exterior (everything needed for new installation in standard 1-3/4" thick door)
- Full Dummy will include hollow rim lock (no active parts) and 5030 knob with 5002 rosette. Full dummy is typically used on the inactive door for a set of double doors.
- 2-1/4" thick door options will include a longer spindle.
